Is Blood hunt actually working?

So I have only been playing with Blood hunt for a small amount of time, and I am not actually sure of this, so correct me if I am being crazy. Whenever the new bar is added to the enemy health (better visible on bosses) that is supposed to show how much damage it will do if you use blood hunt. it seems like at least 80% of that bar is put ON TOP of the enemies current health. I assume it should replace a part of the enemies current health. Because if it is added on top, there is no actual damage being done when blood hunt is procced since it just removes the bar that was added on top of the current health pool.

I am playing a huntress with the amazon ascendency and my only talent point is in the weak spots talent.

Anyone else who noticed this? It can be hard to tell and I have no idea how to actually prove/disprove this. Would love to know if I am going crazy :P.

The dark red bar is "Blood Loss", which is basically showing you how much damage you've done to that enemy via physical damage over time. Blood Hunt only does 25% of this amount as additional damage, so this might be why you're a bit confused.

NO. it doesnt work at all. skill is broken currently.
