Unable to use skills when revived in co-op play

Hello Folks ,


Me and my friend either of us when revived are unable to use skills , all the attack skills are greyed.

The one revived has to portal to town and be back to use the attack skills.

Is anyone facing the same ?

This also happened to me on day 1 while in the dreadnaught. I could not use them while targeting an enemy. I could use them when not targeting though but it sorted itself when I relogged.

Apologies however I think I may have raised this issue in the wrong section of the forum, "Console Bug Reports" titled "Unable to use skills on targeted enemies after Spectate mode"


"Apologies if this issue has already been raised.

The following issue was experienced on a PS5 console, when playing PoE 2, whilst playing with a team member (who was on a pc).

When my character inevitably died to an enemy, I decided to enter "Spectate mode" out of curiosity.

When I was revived by my team member, it seems I was still in some form of "Spectate mode" unable to use my skills on targeted enemies but was able to use the skills without targeting them.

The work arounds are:

1. Having to die to another enemy and enter and exit "Spectate mode" (prior to be revived again);

2. Not using "Spectate mode"; and

3. Not dieing."

Not sure if you entered "Spectate mode", but thought I'd raise this as it may be related.

Yes I am certainly sure that I did enter spectate mode and then when my friend revived me I couldn't use my skills.

Let me recheck once again this time I will not spectate , will update after 6-7hrs .

Just going to piggy-back on this one as this happens to me every time as well since the Dawn of the Hunt update. Have screen recordings as well if this would be helpful!

I have tried reviving with and without spectating,

This issue happens only when i spectate .
