Trial of Chaos wont let me leave

So I just did my first trial of chaos through the normal campaign, and as soon as i killed the first boss - Chimera - it wont let me continue in to the next room, the reward room. The door is just closed and the trial master is just chillin in the front of the room and the Chimera is dead. And I cant portal out i have to just run all the way back, no other way out.

- Update - I cant run all the way back because the rising platforms dont move anymore. So this character is just stuck in the trial. Cant portal, can move forward cant run back.
