Trading? Mechanics changed-now it produces errors in gamedesign

I've been trying to buy a weapon from a player in the trade menu for several hours now, but out of 30 requests, not a single player has responded or reacted.

I play on PS5 and, of course, I selected POE2 - Dawn of the Hunt in the trade menu... The progress of my story campaign is once again incredibly slow, I can hardly find anything useful, and it's not much fun. The only way out for me: trading...

…That doesn't work either, because I can't imagine 30 different players I ask about a trade not responding. Do you have any other problems? I'm already sick of playing and waiting again. Time is so valuable.

After several hours, someone finally contacted us, and we were able to complete the trade. GGG, the trading system MUST absolutely work similarly to how it did in PoE1, so that the player doesn't have to confirm it again, but can simply collect the deposited price in their currency.

It was and is brilliant the way it works in PoE1. Can you explain to me why you don't offer this and why you're deciding against it?

Mentioning the community aspect here no longer makes sense for any of us.

The gaming experience really shouldn't depend on which segment of our fragile global population plays this game and, with their views and actions, can limit/hinder/worsen the trading system in PoE2.

...I'm on a T16 map and suddenly someone wants to buy the armor I've offered, but I only have ONE portal...can't they just put the currency in a slot for me? Do I really always have to invite them first, and then they confirm the value I've already specified? ...if you want to make the players happy, then do it differently, right?

I'm having the same issue. Is there a fix for it? I'm on ps5 been trying to trade for better gear for 2 days now.

My only advice is to try and try again, be sure you‘ve selected the new Dawn-League.

But honestly it must be changed GGG…
