"Failed to connect to instance" after character selection

I have been playing POE2 since early access in Dec 2024. After the new patch today, I have been unable to login to any of my characters within the account. I can select my old characters and even create a new character, but every time I try entering the game with any character the load will fail with an error message - "Failed to connect to instance". I tried troubleshooting by selecting different servers, resetting my IP, disabling my firewall, reinstalling the game but nothing is working.

I used that link and submitted an email ticket for support and they replied asking me to submit the issue to the forum instead. It's going in circles...

Same. Disconnect every single time closer to the end of the map since last EU night with "the operation timed out" error followed by "failed to connect to instance" after it when reconnecting.
