Weapon Swap broken

I have a bow/spear setup and I can swap weapons, use the buckler, and basic spear attacks, but I can't use any of the spear skill gems. Restart the game fixes it temporarily, but the issue reoccurs.

It seems to have fixed itself. It only occurred the the Freythorn.
