Just a message to the developers that if PoE2 ends up making the game bankrupt, I would be happy to purchase an offline version of PoE1, for upwards of 100$.
I imagine you could easily find 100,000 people who would happily do the same. This is of course if you are going to cut off support for PoE1, which would be the worst decision you guys have ever made, other than pulling PoE1 development to focus on PoE2. Not worth the effort tbh...they still plan to support the online game (even though there has been a delay on that)
While it is supported they would need to significantly recode the game to be standalone but it would have to come with what is run on the server. then you have the problem with piracy Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

How about a cheat engine where you can ID less than 1000 rare weapon drops OFF THE GROUND and find a meaningful upgrade?

they would have to give you the code to run the game worldwide jst for your pc (gameserver, achievement server, realm serer, client engine).
i doubt that tencent would give that away for 100$ especially since most of the code is probably shared between poe1 and 2 they would give you the chance to find potential loopholes in the poe2 serer architecture age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

A stand-alone remaster of poe 1 with poe 2 graphics, offline and no-limit mod support. 100$? I effin raise this to 200$.
And then I would be willing to purchase new leagues and expansions at appropriate prices (pay more for the bigger expansion). Ones that I can download and chose whether to install or not on my own. That's right, Daddy, there is no need to forcefully control and monitor the gaming habits of 30+ years old men. The current poe makes one constantly feel like wittle Frodo about to be struggle-snuggled by a squad of specially invited Uruk-Hai under the inappropriately interested gaze of Sauron. This insanity and greed that has gotten hold of the gaming industry must be reigned in. You hear this GGG? It is time to once again remember that you should be selling content instead of cosmetics and stash tabs. There should be a line between the mob that controls gambling and a gaming studio and it has gotten too blurred for comfort! |
