Is there is a way to recover deleted character?

I just deleted my character because and I want to rant a bit the delete button is in the place of play button in Poe 1, who in the right mind design this like that and why? You have whole screen to place the button in any place on it and someone placed it on the same spot as PLAY in Poe 1. my game is crashing constantly so when I load it again I've press this delete and right away yes, I didn't even read anything and now I'm thinking if I'm stupid or someone that designed it was just having fun, like why this button that is completely erasing someone's character is in same spot that button that is stating PLAY in a game that this one is replacing, I've played more then 5000 hours in Poe 1 over last 10 years its obvious that there are automatic reactions like pressing play as fast as you can so you enter the server faster, I'm furious and felling stupid and the last time I was thinking about quitting the game like now was when some scammer robbed me from 6 link belly of the beast giving me the 5 link one.

The position of this button made me felt like someone rob me from something.

Again is there is a way to get my char back or delete means its done and i ahve to restart or quit.
