Perpetual Charge unable to support Lightning Spear

Seems like this should be a valid support.

Lightning spear consumes a frenzy charge if possible
Perpetual Charge has a chance to not consume charges but still count as if consumed

but cannot be socketed

also unable to support Storm Lance.

It is able to support spear throw which has similar charge consumption interaction.

Yep. Just tried to socket my Lightning Spear with perpetual charge and it didnt work. doesnt make sense not be an option.

Seconding this post, doesn't work with neither Lightning Spear nor Storm Lance

Same trouble here. The combination does work for Explosive spear tho.

Also having this trouble with lightning spear. Would be a fun support gem to use for this.
