GGG decided for a very short time frame for players to be able to update their game prior of the league start.

there must be a good reason why they don't do like 4 hours prior of the release ;)))))))))

customer first!
Is it even available on the regular client? I assume it has to go live there before they can ship it to Steam.
Still Nada!
Just started...
Downloading 40GB on normal Client
well I patched in steam, and the client immediately crashes before even seeing the login screen, this is after a reboot and doing a file integrity check on the files...

I think it is having issues with my AMD 9070xt... here is what appears in the logs.

Irrecoverable Exception Callback: SET

Give it time.
I am on PC East Coast time, I was able to patch up but it did take a bit... 40.04GB.

Just checked, I can get to the login screen and of course the servers are not up yet... but 6,000 people in a Q waiting.

I still have 45 minutes before they go live but with a huge Q and rocky release day, I bet things are going to be dicey today.
first whole minute STEAM was in idle status, somehow.

then it started full speed, 29.1 GB download.
Now in queue.

ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!? 🙉🍌
I don't know why the standalone client doesn't have a pre-download torrent file available, but Steam has always required the official release time before you could download the update.
