Why doesn't the GGG POE client just update the game automatically?

Why does the GGG POE2 client not just update the game automatically? Why do I have to figure out how to use torrent files to update the game myself? Why do I have to not be able to play the new patch at the starting time because I am waiting 15 hours for BitTorrent to unpack your torrent file? I am more than disgruntled about this. It will update before launch, Torrent is for people that do the leveling race shit
