the game will not launch

for the last couple days i cannot launch the game not from steam not from my computer as i downloaded straight to my computer thinking it might be steam, but nope i got as far as the gears on screen then black screen. i have uninstalled reinstalled check the files are loaded and not corrupt, ive posted her several times and on steam several times and still no response, i have well over 700hrs of playtime and now this

no idea what might cause this, but try alt+enter when you have a black screen. this changes the game between windowed and fullscreen mode. try switching back and forth (no spamming, give it time to respond to your input).

once i try to launch game it stops all other actions i cant cntrl alt delete i cant use window button i cant move mouse pointer when i am able to see it in between the black screens until it goes through its cycle of black screen to black screen

have you cleared your shader cache? if you have amd, open the Amd Software, go to Gaming/Graphics at the bottom "Reset Shader Cache". idk about nvidia tho

nothing is working

cleared the cach and got as far as the gears on screen then black screen i had to restart my computer again

have you seen this Thread (here in bug reports) "[AMD GPU] Game consistently causes BSOD when Enhanced Sync is on, along with other related issues"

are you using some form of sync? try disable both "Enhanced Sync" and "Wait for Vertical refresh" (aka v-sync) in Gaming/Graphics

else, i run out of ideas without being at your machine. i'm sorry, if i were you i'd start fiddling with all sorts of stuff, including audio bit-depth and bit-rate and more. but that takes hours upon hours and we can't do that over a forum. i'm sorry :(
