DID THEY FIXED POE2 SYSTEM FREEZING ?

Hey guys, im back after 3 months. i left poe2 cuz game was freezing my whole system all the time which cause my m2 ssd to be broken. My question is. - did they fidex this common problem where poe2 freez whole system ??? or this bug is still in the game ?

It's a good question, would also like to know, similar situation.

Not going to scour through the 600 pages/smth thread, anyone got any up-to-date info?

some folks had issues related to some Windows update, they were able to resolve it afaik?

some others however still have issues. so it depends on what caused your issue i guess?

It looks like it may be fixed for a majority of players, but the hard freeze (loading gears followed by lockup) is definitely still an ongoing issue for the rest. Judging by how much the "freeze threads" on this forum have slowed down it would seem that this is the case.

Or they just dont care enough to play... I haven't played for 2 months...

i posted post asking someone from GGG to answer me my question and they DELETED my question xd nice xd i see that the problem still exist . deleting questions about product that i paid for and cannot use is just so ... lame. so lame to not to answer me why i cannot play game when i bought even more expensive version to support them. lol just lol. deleting posts instead fixing game is not the solution but...

I haven't had any issues in the last couple days, though I had them really bad for a few days. I think it is fixed.

This is what GGG posted in the patch notes:

"In order to work around a common crash that was occuring on nVidia hardware with recent drivers the game can now recover from "Device Removed" events. When this occurs the game will display a loading screen (and pause) while it attempts to recover. This only applies for this specific type of client crash, not all client crashes."

The full PC crash issue was fixed for me in PoE 2, but I haven't played in about a month, so I'm assuming it didn't come back somehow. However, the full PC crash was not fixed in PoE 1 when I tried to play the new event.

I will say, I still had CONSTANT crashes in PoE 2 (crash to desktop every 30m-1hr), which led me to quit the game anyway, just not hard PC crashes.

I'm on Windows 11 23H2, 9800X3D 4080 Super, 32GB DDR5 6000 RAM and i just had a full system freeze in Dawn of the Hunt :(

i have ryzen 7 7700x and rtx 4090. as long as i know problem with freezing system was only on x3d cpu but still i have same problem on my 7700x and 4090 ddr5 and latest win 11
