Atlas map reset on Dawn of the Hunt release?

Hey, folks. I know it may have been answered in different ways by this point. But will all of my atlas map progress and juiced maps be reset with the update or will it all still look the same until I progress further into the fog of war to uncover the new mechanics? I know i can still use my old characters but my atlas map is super valuable by this point and I need to see if I'll have to farm out my best maps before the patch hits in case it's supposed to reset my entire map progress. Any detailed answers would be appreciated!! Thanks!

I saw in standard that the atlas did not change at first glance. All the towers are standing in the same place. I thought the atlas would reset.

I did not go far into where I was in the atlas, but Im curious about this old atlas...

Will the new mechanic spawn only in the grey areas now?
