Quivers for Crosswbows
Can we have them?
- Would help balance crossbows and bows, in season 1 the later were significantly stronger. - It makes sense thematically. - D2 had quivers for bolts. - Where do we carry our bolts if not in quivers? Last bumped on Apr 4, 2025, 11:13:50 AM

Not a bad ideia but i think it would make crossbow and bows too similar to each other
Personally, I'd want crossbows to be 1h weapons, so you had to carry 2 of them for maximum efficiency, like you could have 1 unique xbow in one hand and a rare in the other, with different attack speeds or base types for example I'd love to fill the class fantasy of having 1 hand crossbow and a sword at the same time |

" Yo fella. They are making Crossbows two handed weapons. To put in simple so you can understand: After 0.2.0 rolls out, you will be running with 2H axe, but you will be able to attack from safe distance. End-game you will have 800 DPS on it. |

Would be for this. Always nice to have more stat gear and ways to change things up with uniques. Heck, would also be down for the 2H Melee weapons to be able to equip bucklers or some other form of stat/unique gear (Pauldrons maybe? Not sure what else would make sense beyond stuff you can strap to your arm/shoulders.) in their off hand slots so long as it's still roughly balanced.

" Yo, fella. The whole idea that there are separate pools for MODS for 1H and 2H versions of the same weapon class, is to balance the stats you are getting. The other "stat/unique" gears that you can equip with 2H weapons are called armor and jewelry. You put your boots on, and you get stats. Try it. |

" Okay? Can still have different pools between the types and also have special items able to be equipped in the empty off-hand slot, similar to how Bows get Quivers. Not sure what point you're trying to make here... "Different weapon types have different mods" is a given and doesn't invalidate having something able to be used in an otherwise empty slot. |

" Are you purposely trying to be argumentative and daft, mate? We already have a precedence of a 2H Weapon with specialized Off-Hand equipment with the Bow/Quiver showing how it can be done and balanced stats wise. We also have armament that traditionally doesn't need to be directly held and instead can be strapped to your arm with stuff like bucklers. What is so great of a logical leap to you about letting 2H Weapon wielders also equip a buckler (maybe with a trade off that they can't actively block with it and/or a stat reduction)?
