Please remove enemy speed modifiers if the game is to be slowed down.
If combat is going to be interactive again, instead of a 1 shot fiesta, then enemy speed multipliers shouldn't exist and be in abundance. The enemies have to match the players in order for combat to be engaging. This cocaine cold war needs to end for good.

Oh please.
They like where the combat is at currently, otherwise they would change it and seeing as they have not done so, well.. the players need no mobility but the enemies need to be able to leap or zoom on top of you to counteract the screen clearing one button smash or whatever the justification actually is. |

thats a really great point. so many of ggg's design decisions are in conflict with one another.
they want methodical game play but mobs move at warp speed. combos arent practical to use because if you arent moving at warp speed yourself youll be one shotted. they removed alot of the diversity from the skill tree and moved it over to gear, but gear drops are GARBAGE. they made the game multiplayer but its the single most unfriendly coop system i have ever seen in an arpg, your friend dies? to bad go sit in the corner. they want combat to feel engaging but thet insist on putting on death effects on the ground, raspberry jam puddles for example, where we get to stand there and WAIT for them to clear. it goes on and on. Yeah, I don't know why it seems so hard for GGG to understand that "slowing the game down" is not the same as "slowing only the players down". And part of the community too who are saying "well, you were asking them to slow the game down, you got what you wanted!" - we didn't, not at all.
I keep bringing this up, but Mark said in one of the pre-release interviews that the one of the main reasons they made POE2 was because in POE1 endgame few people can even tell what killed them (with a one-shot too) most of the time and that that's not fun. Well, that hasn't changed in POE2 ("what just killed me??" is still the #1 phrase uttered by POE2 players) and that won't change unless they slow *THE GAME* down (in the endgame), not just the player. I'd be fine with all the nerfs we got right now if the monster section of the patch notes wasn't just a pile of nothing. |

" They understand. Unless you're implying they are so inept that they are somehow accidentally turning this game into the first game? |

" Do they? I'm not seeing any evidence of this. What are you seeing that I'm not? |
