0.2 Starter Build, No one tells about: Tactician

Guys whats ur opinion about tactician minion build as starter?

I've actually been pondering starting something with tactician. Not minions though. It could be fun if the nodes supporting such a playstyle are decent enough.

I can see a pure spectre build or something.

I'd say wait and make it as a second character once we have more info on spectres and such.

indeed. but i cant be sure about starter

Level a new character now in speed and don't complete trial and wait for tomorrow update to do it so you can check yourself if its viable, yeah you will be delayed by maybe 1 hour max but maybe you will like it more to play what you wanted.

actualy as class, iam not sure about starter. all the hype into lich or ritualist

Considering a ranged totem starter but it just a gut feel at the moment and not based on any actual game knowledge.

i think we are all blind :p

what i wanna try is to go weird, play with merc and hang hopes to find a uniqe while lvling to build around, i think i wont rush to pick ascendency, gemling is still okay becosue of flexibility i guess, otherwise ill go for tactician

Its weird we don't have any tactician build yet. This post got lots of view so it shows people are interested about tactician.

For my tactician I play with ballista and Armor piercing right now i can do the campaign very easily.

ballista definetly okay

iam bleed pin build supported with ballistas. clunky but okay, iam lvl 55 yet tho

Playing lightning spear starter and feel super weak even with 1st pin node.
Mod always too close to you so they still play their animation when in pin.
Struggle throuth act 2 and immediate switch to arty ballisa totem feel supper good and carry my character to tier 5-6 map.

But became more and more weak in high level map because hitting damage ceiling.
Adding Glacial Bolt to nuke rare and bosses this help alot but still weak.

Currently reroll minion with Watch How I Do It.
Doing Full Spectres Vaal Guard skill with a decent mace 200~400 phys nearly double their dps.
But minions are in the tough spot now. They die too quickly and Vaal Guard have slow damage ram up make it feel even worse (Bossing damage is supper but clear and visibility going to the gutter)

Will trying new specter like bloodthief queen and antlion bc they have many quick attack with low base damage.
