Do you remember when this company had a sense of humor?

I do. April Fool's Day.

Cats on death, crit, etc. One time they said they would turn into a battle royale game and actually made a cute game to prove it. A trading simulator? LOL

Too bad you lost your sense of humor, GGG. Maybe look for it somewhere.

GGG has their hands tied.

i'd rather they fix their game first before doing stuff like this.

Cats on Crit was peak poe and I'll die on this hill!
Just a lowly standard player. May RNGesus be with you.
I wonder what might be happening right now that might discourage them from spending manpower on a one off joke....

Hmmmmmmmmm...

I wonder what it could be......

It's not like they're trying to deploy a big update on an early access product that the company more or less rides or dies on the success of.
Yeah it would be hard to get a community manager to write a semi amusing post. That would definitely take hours and hours away from the developers.

I brought up some rather elaborate things they have done in the past but a joke post is more than they can do now.

I think they did sell their sense of humor along with the rest.

Modern POE1 is the April Fools Joke itself that never ends. It prides itself as an ARPG in which people filter out all wearable item drops and 99%+ of uniques are laughably bad.

Yes, I testify that in the last 1-2 years, GGG (admin) deleted 5-6 of my posts on this forum that were sarcastic and satirical (not offensive to anyone) with the reasoning that the posts were inappropriate and did not comply with the TOS.

Apparently they don't want that kind of humor anymore.

I really miss those days. It's the little things that keep the community alive.

It feels like GGG only cares about players, but not a community anymore. Hence why there's almost no communication about anything anymore, except some interviews. Gone are the days of community managers, manifestos, april fools posts. Whatever I guess.
