Transparency about full release performance expectations?
Hi,
As we know, there are countless threads about performance issues. Jonathan Rogers has mentioned in a few interviews now that he expects performance to be “much better” by full release, but my question is, what is the performance target that we should expect for the PS5 (or Ryzen 7 3700X systems) to exit early access? I exclusively play couch coop with my partner and <15fps with assets flickering in and out of existence is the reality of the game in its current state. This is early endgame breaches, as we haven’t progressed to very highly juiced maps. We’d even be willing to move to a PC set up by the TV, but even this has obstacles because none of our stash microtransactions or coins would carry over, adding an additional barrier to moving to another platform. Transparency around what we should expect for the future here would be greatly appreciated. Ideally, there’d be a commitment to maintaining at least a stable 30fps in most heavy scenarios in couch coop, with 60+ hopefully being more common, and zero asset flicker.
