console / pc mixed input away from desk

it looks like poe 2 doesn't support mixed input simultaneously, but I know steam input works w/ pads and pointer devices in "kb+mouse" configs. but it drops things like rumble fx and analog thumbstick, basically works like a dpad or WASD. The CCC Fusion project at indiegg mixes some different gamepads / steam decks with an apple magic trackpad and player don't have to sit at a desk.

Any updates from devs if there's any future plan to add full mixed input support to POE 2? Or is the idea that mixed input is "too niche?"
