Disconnects and the upcoming Waystone Portal changes

In the current state of the game, disconnecting, either because the game crashed or a network error occurred results in the loss of 1 portal. Since waystones with 6 mods will result in a single portal into the map in 0.2.0, will a disconnect effectively mean losing a map?

Based on the Live stream, yes, but they were going to discuss it further.

Its not just Disconnects this affects but Trading and just going back to Hideout to offload items.

I am hoping it is changed from "Portals" to "Deaths". So 6 Portals for all maps, 6 Deaths on 1 Mod Blue map, down to one Death on 6 Mod Map.

Portals now Equal Deaths available.

If you have a one portal map you can leave and re-enter as may times as you like, until either the map is completed or you die.
