A Warning and a review.

I wanna to tell you about the game The Bazaar . if you hear about this game and want to try it you need to know what you are getting yourself into.

First off just one positive , but its a big one . this game is the path of exile of its genre , which is auto-battlers with deck building - trading .
there is nothing close to it as far as core game goes .

Now the negatives first monetization then the game itself .

This game was planned to be a nft game , then scrapped , now its made to be a mobile game eventually with a test run on PC. everything from the ground up is designed like a mobile game .

ever since they went into open beta free to play , they put in the following monetization :

a 10 dollar sub/ monthly . which gives you double rewards from your wins .
(and a bunch of skins and cosmetic stuff)
a 10 dollar Prize pass(battle pass)(monthly) due to how progress is structured you will not be able to get even 1 level a day , if you dont play 10hours+.
and the prizes are really cheap and stingy .

heroes : you get the first one for free , 2nd one costs 500 gems , 3rd one costs 1500 gems and every other then that 2500 gems .

100gems is 1 dollar , and you can buy gems with real money for that price
there is no other way to get the heroes .

on the pass itself there are item packs ( cards) which give player power and are decant . if you dont buy the prize pass , you will have to play vs those cards anyway , and next month you can get the packs for 10 dollars each.

to enter the game there are 2 modes Ranked and normal . normal is free but no one really tries in it or plays it except to complete daily quests or tests stuff.

Ranked is the main game mode . which gives rewards for winning . to enter ranked you have to pay 100gems which is 1 dollar , for each run . or you can get a ticket (there are some on the prize pass)

Due to all of this , the game has sparked an outrage and a lot of people left .
except for the grand funders , who have invested a lot into the game and are too far deep to quit . when playing (currently) you will see 5-10 grand funder players , before 1 new player (open beta player)

that means that you will mostly fight super optimized builds and lose , unless you are a type of person who can make a POE build on their own and kill all ubers with it , This will happen.

so basically you are a fish for the whales to feed on , so they invest more money . to even be the fish you need to invest also .

the company tempo accepts feedback but . if its negative you cant even post it on their reddit .
and on the discord unless you are saying good stuff about the game , you will get timed out or redirected to a page to write you negative stuff where no one will look. and if you dare to post a meme or make fun of tempo its an IP ban.

now this is my opinion but the reason why the hide in a corner of the internet , delete anything they dont like , and will not go steam or any public platform is : they would get blasted in reviews and the game would die in a day .

also in my opinion they will just keep doubling down on making profits until they drain the pc community then re-brand and put the game on mobile .

This is my warning to you , core game is really good and if it gets its hooks into you it could/will make you financial problems .
