POE 2 IS WAY TO DIFFICULT

Respectfully im sick of poe2.I don't want to hear about "oh it's hard because your a fiablo 4 player and that game is so easy,no, I've played poe1,diablo 3, diablo 4, the torchlight series, divinity sin games, minecraft dungeons etc. I have played enough of these types of games to know how it works but poe 2 is way to punishing in the campaign. I understand that it's meant to be harder than poe1 and different but being body blocked by enemies, being 1 shot by normal mobs, being animation locked into abilities and not able to dodge out of mechanics, not receiving any rewarding gear that makes me think about my build and choices during gameplay etc. I by no means claim to be a great poe player but I have yet to get past lvl 32 on any character because it is that dreadful trying to progress. There are bosses in game that I couldn't even beat because they continued to one shot me even while I was over leveled then them so I had to get a buddy to carry me through it. I like the bosses, I like the story, I love poe1 and wanted harder content but poe 2 isn't it for me I would rather play any of the diablo games than poe 2. There is no reason for the difficulty to be this extreme so early on. The only time I have any enjoyment is playing my witch and all I do is hold block with a shield and let my minions kills the enemies because I truly can't survive. I'm not getting better gear and all I have access to is the npc shops because the AH is locked behind story progression THAT I CANT GET PASSED! I have friends that could only progress by finding random groups of four people and even then it took hundreds of hours to get a build to a point where he could solo story content that fit with his level. I love GGG I think they are great and very transparent with information and truly care about the community and the game but I'm not having fun and new friends that I get to play poe2 quite after a few hours because of early game difficulty as well. We can't even experience the story or experience your end game contenybecause the difficulty through acts 1 - 3 are so punishing that wether it's us playing solo or together qe are being constantly killed and even one shot. Oh another thing why does reviving a teammate take so long I have fought multiple bosses with a friend of mine where he died and everything that hits me constantly interrupts the revive and it takes so long that in every single boss we have fought I have to try and solo group content or just die and reset. The game isn't fun at all it's to hard and it's not rewarding for the time and effort qe put into trying to play a game. I REALLY HOPE GGG READS THIS because I do like the game, truly, but it's not new player friendly and it's way to difficult. I left poe 1 because I was one shotting everything the whole game and it became boring to me but this game difficulty is yo far in the opposite direction and as a new player id like to be able to enjoy this game.i just saw the new update with the huntress but I'm not sure I even want to try to play her because it will just become another character I can't progress on. Thank you so much to anyone that reads this I know it was a lot but these are all my personal thoughts and feelings on the game.

do now overlevel bosses, overgear them.
easy solution - is just to buy gear from players, its a trade game after all.
show your build btw.
The difference between having a few pieces of good gear and not can make an enormous difference in early levelling.

The irony for me was that I was getting far better gear from vendor NPCs at this point than from drops in the game, which stood out as a problem. As always, your mileage may vary and this fell off a lot for later acts.

You are very much expected to craft gear early on in this game. Exalts drop often enough, even in Act 1, to allow for trying your hand at improving any good gear that you do find (or buy). Regals are less common, though you can earn shards by disenchanting any unusable rare gear. I realize that not everyone may have luck with that, but the design intention for the game was that you should be using exalts by the end of Act 1 to aid in progression.

Player revives are new to POE2 and I have to agree that trying to use them in many boss fights (even Draven and Asinia) requires more time than you usually have between assaults, without a third player or minions to draw aggro.

In case the nature of trading is unclear, you gain access to a Currency Exchange with Alva later in the game but you can still trade equipment as a lower-level player. Finn handles the currency exchange in Act 4. That said, I know some players who initially had issues trading as a new player.

Trading equipment involves a dedicated trade website off the main game site. There is no auction house for equipment.

As in POE1, trading currency or uniques is barred until you reach a certain level (~level 25) on at least one character. While that places a damper on many trade interactions, you CAN otherwise still trade with other players and could 'drop trade' minor currency payments in a pinch if you are willing to accept the risk.

For my part, while I agree that the game is balanced around trade I am not saying that trade should be required to progress in the game. SSF play should be feasible if more challenging. Trade tends to quickly swing the game in the opposite direction, making it too easy.

Who's going to read that? If you don't have time to hit the space bar, people won't take the time to read what you wrote.

the fact that this is the most important thing to know if you start poe2 right now should be a red flag in a game that is about looting gear from monsters. instead of we are looting gold and buying stuff from vendors. its terrible
I kind of agree with the OP but I gotta say its mainly in the early parts of the campaign. Ive taken 4 chars to maps so far and I couldnt survive with any of them except for the Titan Im currently at level 77 and running t6 maps fairy easily. Buying items from the vendors does indeed suck and thats what makes early parts of the game difficullt. Once I get to Cruel I dont have any more issues because I started finding better stuff - and Ive traded for a couple BIS items as well. Hoping they up the drop rate for early levels eventually...
In game since Minotaur League..

Trade is painful. And not fun. So SSF. But I agree it's too hard for me too. I need a pure SSF mode (no trade, no migration) with better loot.

This. *finger pointing up emoji*
Sorry to say but it is really not that difficult. If you have so many problems, you probably lack some understanding of the game, mechanics and itemization.

Try to read some guides about how to scale damage and defense, that would help a lot i guess.

it's not. but yeah if you're sick of it just move on. The campain is definitly not that hard expect maybe a few boss and only during the first attempts when youu don't know their mechanism. Can't wait for some new one whe we will have new acts :)
