On Death Mechanics are not fun or interesting.

The on death effects in T17 maps have to go. You've built a game based on looting items but in T17 maps you punish players if they go to loot those items on the ground. It would be one thing if the things that one shot you were a clear damage area, but they're all small tiny orbs that follow you and blow up. You cannot see drowning orbs or volatile cores or the stupid water cores or whatever that follow you. And also the drowning orbs visual effect just blends in with your map so you dont notice you're in a drowning orb while you're looting until you're dead.

Obviously the counter-play is to wait to loot stuff for like 5-10 seconds..... Man I sure enjoy waiting 5-10 seconds doing nothing to go loot the stuff that the monsters just dropped, dont you?

It's incredibly frustrating because this game can be incredibly fun, but then you introduce dumb mechanics that completely take away from everything else you've done that is fun. It's like you didn't learn your lesson from when mobs used to explode on death, or when they used to form an orb on death and then chase you. You got rid of those and then just introduced them again in T17s. On death effects are not fun. How many times do you have to learn this lesson???
