Any ways of getting Putrid Cloister in ssf?

Never had this issue,got 100+ unique maps in stash, used hundreds of scouting reports checked white/yellow/red each time.
I did scry academy for Beach, been doing 100+ quant maps not a single The Professor card. I got awakaned multistrike and reflecting mist but can't get a lousy map to unlock multimod which obviously I really need. Last bumped on Mar 31, 2025, 2:23:31 PM

" RNG is RNG, you win some, you lose some. I've never gotten Awakened Multistrike, but I don't think I've ever played a league without getting Putrid Cloister. But there are certain other unique maps that have high(er) chance of dropping unique maps, I think. There is also a Divination Card for Putrid Cloister, dropping in Academy, I think (doublecheck that, please). That said, Kirac is by far the easiest way, but you are having SSF luck with that, so...:P Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

IME roughly in that order:
1) Kirac mission spam (dont have to enter portal) & Scouting Reports. 2) Random drop, its supposedly a unique which drops like other uniques. See here for guess on rarity (3.23 entry): https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Guide:Analysis_of_unique_item_tiers#Maps So if you use mf setup you should drop it eventually. 3) Buy from Kirac, whenever Kirac mission is started he will reset inventory. 4) Rin in Research. Gravicius (Transportation is best) for 'The Professor'. 5) Farming 'The Professor' in map. Edit: Added Gravicius. No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle! Other than what you and the thread have mentioned, maybe chancing?
I think according to this: https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Guide:Analysis_of_unique_item_tiers#Maps it is a tier 5 unique, so it might not be that difficult, but I haven't tried it myself. If not already, favoriting Museum might help. Rin sounds like a good suggestion. Maybe strongboxes can be a strategy as well. One of the unique strongboxes drops unique maps, so keep an eye out for that when rolling kirac mission maybe. Gameplay section might be good for this as well, maybe someone knows a strat. spec for comprehensive scouting reports and just grind it, if you are in league get an idol setup for extra report drops.
Rin is a good idea to background at the same time but don't really kid yourself the odds are pretty bad but its worth doing in parallel if possible. This is the kind of objective that just feels gross if its the only thing you've got left to do, but its OK if you can do it simultaneously with another project so i'd encourage finding an alternate goal you can accomplish and just get stuck in. |

Just got this from T4 Gravicius, added Gravicius above, Im assuming 'The Professor' can be gotten same way.

It was already said above but definitely spec comprehensive reports, easiest unique maps farm ever (and the only way I ever got Doryani's Machinarium in SSF). Also running transportation Gravicius is a good idea, I think I got ~3 The Professor stacks from him during my league run
