¿Geonor invisible CoD?

Finished killing boss, no spell animations still active on screen and POOF. No idea what got me, if he has a CoD spell that's cool!... but why is it invisible? Would not be that big a deal if I were not playing HC. Would prefer to die fighting not because of some weird clipping/glitch.
