Character will not load (Xbox)

I started a new character, died to the fire lady boss in Mawdun Mine. Went to the loading screen to start from the checkpoint but it just sits there with the gears. Restarted the game, restarted Xbox and it just sits there at that screen. I have tried loading other characters and they load fine.

Just confirming the character is toast. Which will suck. Because of the equipment it had.
