I suggest you dont copy diablo concerning seasons!!

Instead of making your seasons like diablo, (the reason most of us dont play it anymore), let map levels go up indefinitely. You do a level 20, enemies drop 20s, you combine for 21s... the uber bosses can set to different difficulties up to +/- 10 levels of character and the atlas tree adjustments. Seasons would be more like a reset that still plays in the same realm but have a special title, and only those reset characters can compete in the challanges. More Like how you prestige by choice in call of duty games, but can still play with your friends. Many players quit playing weeks before the reset as it becomes a waste and most people im talking to are not going to even start the new season.

Literally no idea what you are trying to say, but if you mean you want to keep characters between seasons it is not happening. Diablo copied PoE, not visa versa; PoE1 is the grand-daddy of seasonal ARPG.

I think they are saying the want infinite progression on maps, beyond level 16/17. Actually that would be closer to Diablo (3) in my opinion, with GR's, that go upto 150. In some cases that cap can be reached, but for many builds they will hit a wall before then. Maybe in subsequent Diablo games it is different.

I don't agree myself, because I don't think it fits in with the itemization. I think what OP is reasoning is that many builds in POE are extremely more powerful than t16 and they would like to be able to push the difficulty until it hits a wall. T17 is a way of having a much larger difficultly increase to interact with, though not everyone is onboard with how it works currently. Balancing reward becomes a big part of making this further content have it's place in the game. It's not easy to do.

There is a mechanic in the game currently which does act like this. Delve. It continues to increase difficulty and although the end has been reached recently, it is basically endless in most aspects and builds will hit a wall in difficulty before reaching the end. Perhaps OP want's something that ramps up quicker than this and in maps.
