League content on STD - Its happening on EA! RAWR

so ggg recently announced that we can access new league content while resetters can enjoy a new separate league.

i hope this is applied to new leagues going forward.

Hope not when we are talking adding pinnacles and aspirational content.

Even more so if broken items from borrowed power stacking up as well.

They said this is a special case just for EA and going forward they won't do it. And it's because this isn't a league and there wasn't enough specific content to make a league out of it, since almost everything added was for the entire game.

It's not specifically a new league, it's just a early access core content update that comes along with a fresh start.

They will very likely continue the old fashion of having league specific content bound to the corresponding challenge league, keep ideas, rework ideas, or nuke them entirely from the list after the league, while basic core game changes obviously affect both league and standard.

So don't get too excited

but in any case since its poe2 is still EA i m sitting it out and enjoying other games and will check back later.

coz ultimately i feel its a big dealbreaker to me.

if POE2 is gonna use the same formula. i will just play the game for campaign and forget about it like other diablo likes i've played in the past
