Viper Legionary Hook debuff remains after enemy is dead

Would like to report that the Viper Legionary Hook debuff still remains after the enemy is dead. They stack several times, making it painful to move. You must port out to remove the debuff, which severely limits the loot I can salvage. I have seen similar posts from months back with little activity. This bug is extremely annoying. I have not attempted a Stone Citadel for about 2 months because of this. Please address.
