Resistances do not add up

I am puzzled that my armour resists (including runes it adds up to 65%) appear to be more than what I see on my character panel (shows only 45%). can you tell me why this is so or if I am somehow mistaken

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-forum/2214 Are you factoring the resistances gained and lost during the campaign? There are several side quests that reward permanent resistances and you lose 10% per act. So if you're in Act 3 and have not done the resistance quests, that is -20% resist. |
