Missing Essences

I know it sound crazy but I traded essences for chaos and the trade was good as usual, I had my currency tab open when I trasferred the essences from my stash into my essence tab (with preferences).
Then i came back to my HD and checked the essence tab. None of the essences just bought were there. I have some form before (371) but none for the 670 bought were present.

Again I know its sound crazy, it never happened to me before but....they are not there.
The screenshot will give some evidence if possible.

I dont want the essences back of course but if there is a bug with the trade system better to be fixed immidiatly.

So the first glaring issue with your screenshots is the second row of essences went up by 370 deafening essences, plus however many shrieking and screaming. I'm assuming you mapped more as various other essences went up, but the 370 is a massive skew. Could you have been scammed and they gave you non-contempts? (More reason why I prefer paying more on currency exchange, but different topic). 370 of the other essence + 170 contempts is only 540, but it's a start to tracking down what really happened. If you bought the 370 and didn't mention it in the bug report though, you should probably update that.

The next issue is you didn't know about the mass clicking, but just want to check if you know about the uhh.. drawing a blank right now, the key to hold and hover to get a count of how many of a single currency are in the window? Because a single trade window can only hold 60 1x1 items, and essences stack to 9, meaning a single trade can only do 540 essences. And if you did that in combination with the 370 + 170 scam, it would help you verify you were being scammed with different essences, let alone not enough. I see you accepted 2 trades now after writing that, so if you did a full window + 14.5 stacks, then the quantity is right.. just a question of type.

Hope that helps in some way for future trades. But as you said, GGG does not assist with compensation or scams. But with the current information provided, that is all I can help with.

My best bet so far is that I got scammed, the guy on purpose or not traded me a number of contempt mixed with greed. 541 + 371 = 912 < 670.
I had already bought some essences before, both greed and contempt but I dont really remember the initial quantities.
Like you said 670 is not enough for one window, and in fact we did the trade in 2 rounds.
Far from me asking for any refund. This post was only to be sure I got scammed and there are no problems on the trade site.
