vaal impurity of lightning/ice is not working

Hi, I tried to get my elemental resistance to 90%, when I try to use the vaal impurity of lightning (after collecting 50 souls), it did not increase the maximum lightning resistance by 5. I tried it with vaal impurity of ice, it also did not increase the maximum cold resistance. I linked it with enlighten support and petrified blood gems. I asked someone on POE discord and when they tried it on their build, it also did not work for them. I also could not see the vaal impurity buff in the buffs list. This affect my build of trying to get elemental resistance to 90%
