Vaal Summon Skele + Scarabs = BUFFED MINIONS?

Titanic scarab of treasures:
Unique monsters in the area have 2 additional rewards & 30$ increased toughness.

This one I stopped using because how nutty it was getting...

Unique monsters in area have two additional monster modifiers.

At first I didn't think anything of it until one of my maps my giant skele had the blue ring of death.

Bosses are unique rarity enemies, but not all unique rarity enemies are bosses.

Anything unique can get the 2 random modifiers and the blue ring of a death is a random modifier. People will intentionally run maps like Glacier because all of the goats that spawn before the actual boss are unique, so it adds up to a significant amount of extra rewards for each Titanic scarab used. And then add in other stuff like Jun, exiles, elder portals, etc.. all unique mobs that benefit from Titantic scarab and other passives related to killing unique enemies.

Risk vs reward. Scarabs are optional, so if your build can't handle the added difficulty, don't run the scarab.

The ring of death was on my minions not the bosses.

My mistake, I forgot the vaal skeleton spawn a unique too. Which then leads to a lot more questions about minions counting as unique monsters for some context but not all contexts?
Does the modifiers on your minions harm you? IE: ring of death
Does the other Titanic scarabs apply to that unique minion?
I doubt this, but funny test.. can you spam Vaal Summon Skeleton (flask tech) with three of the Titanic treasures so every time the unique skeleton dies it spawns 6 rewards?

Anyways, if the ring is harming you, that sounds like a bug and would recommend a video and bug report number. If the ring is not harming you and just a buff, it is possibly working as intended? But still beneficial for GGG to know what to test if they look into it with the video/bug report.

I wouldn't be able to record my pc is a toaster barely able to play on low settings... Should be easy to test with vaal skele gem and scarabs.
