Linked my xbox account with my already existing email account deleted my character

So I linked my accounts on thus page but my character is gone and I had just gotten to end game. Further more it doesn't register that I bought early access even though I bought poe 1 and the early access in a bundle wondering if I can get my character restored. Even moved to thus account or how ever you would go about doing that. Characters name is sweatpeaann

Hi there, what likely happened is that this account was added as a Sub-Account to your Path of Exile account. This is part of our recent announcement "Changes to Path of Exile's Account System".
As shown in the announcement thread, you should be able to swap between your Sub-Accounts on the character selection screen. I hope this helps. Well I don't see any change account anything fon my character select screen. It's kinda odd because I made the first account with my microsoft outlook email. The just tried trilogy in with my xbox app. Which is technically the same email and it gave it a whole separate number with the same name
