Are you adding more gold to your town? Gold in inventory does not contribute and any workers doing jobs will continue to consume gold while they have work to do. Farmers never stop if you have gold in town.

Sorry I think I misread the nature of your concern. I take it that you are trying to avoid them spending your gold.

You need to add gold to the town treasury to have it used automatically to pay your workers.

Gold in inventory will only decrease in 3 ways:
- Buying/selling on Currency Exchange. - Adding currency to the town that your workers will spend. - Spending currency on upgrades/workers. This will spend gold from your inventory and then dip into the town gold if necessary. If not one of those things, you'll need to include more information. What you're doing, video if possible, etc. |
