Lightning Resistance Unaffected by Topaz Flask with Mageblood

Specifically my lightning resistance is not changing when I use a Topaz Flask with Mageblood.

Current Lightning Res: 48%

If I put on additional Lightning Resistance gear, or take it off, the number changes correctly.

If I use a Topaz Flask, the value does not change with mageblood equipped. If I drink the flask without mageblood then it works.

Using Ruby Flask correctly changes my fire resistance, but lightning seems to have no change at all.

If anyone has advice, please reach out. Otherwise, I think this is bugged. I realize I'm probably missing something obvious but I cannot find any reason why my lightning res isn't affected by mageblood + topaz flask

I am a certified moron. The flask wasn't magic, so it wasn't affected by MB.
