When troubleshooting or trying to make a re-creation video of a situation, it would be useful to just outright enable the performance metrics so you don't have to open your options tab. This is most likely F1 on PC.

I am also curious if your Server is changing somehow. You can check your server while you are in full-screen map mode; it will be on the top right.

I don't know about that server, but i check my character still in same server (singapore).

But when i played this game, when get lagging, i should change that map or restart the game. This happened after last update.

Before update, I can run this game normally.

having the same issue, sometimes game is unplayable due to network spikes
Yes, I still have this issue sometimes :(

For me, I only get network spikes when using the network even on any other device. I could be downloading a patch on another machine and POE2 spikes up to 300-400ms.

When not utilizing the network ie. watching youtube videos, streaming services etc while playing, the game is solid around 45-50ms.

I've tried further servers, closer servers, and the same thing happens. Perhaps an issue with 5g internet? However this is the only game that does this, even POE1 doesn't do the same.
I have network issues all the time. Located in Canada near Toronto, the PoE server is in Montreal. I should be receiving around 30ms pings to this server. I never ever go below 70-80 when the game is playable.

When it is not playable, the ping yo-yos between 70-400, with spikes up to 1000+ and lots of packet loss. This typically occurs during peak hours (6pm-11pm EDT)

I've attached a curious output of a traceroute analysis to the Montreal PoE server.

You can see that it starts with normal routing from my ISP (Distributel) until it gets to a Hub in Toronto where a backbone provider (twelve99.net, a Swedish owned infrastructure provider) routes my connection from Toronto, to Chicago, then Seattle, then Vancouver, and then all the way back to Monreal.

It's no wonder the connection sucks - it's going on a cross-continental tour! What the hell is going on??

I tried again with a VPN tunnel on that goes straight to Montreal, and again, getting some hairpin routing going on that doesn't make much sense to me:

The route is going Toronto ➝ New York ➝ Chicago ➝ Seattle ➝ Vancouver ➝ Montreal

What the heck lol.

I have no idea how to explain this other than there must be some misconfigurations in a back-end somewhere...
