Game crashes when changing area

Issue: Game crashes when I change area, a new instance is not created. If I click with ctrl+click, there is no existing instances. Happens with random areas, sometime on entering town. It was possible just re-enter the area and continue playing. But now I am stuck for 1h by not being able to enter The Riverways. It starts to load and crashes to desktop. Changing to DX11 leads to game crashing on entering game after character selection.

Computer specs: CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D,
GPU - RTX3080Ti,
RAM - 32GB 7200MHz.

Game Settings: Renderer - Vulkan,
Triple Buffering - Disabled,
Multithreading - Enabled,
Resolution - 2560x1440,
Upscale - NIS.

Performance: No issues otherwise, game runs OK with 144FPS (Capped).

Problem is resolved after checking Windows event log and seeing a lot of errors about hard drive bad blocks: The device, \Device\Harddisk2\DR2, has a bad block.; and running chkdsk /f /r X: against the drive showed the issue:

The problem seemed random because it didn't trigger if the person with that microtransaction wasn't present in the area.
