clarification on terms of service related to using 3rd party programs

I will keep this brief, I have a friend who lives over 100 miles away and was wondering if using parsec to allow us to play couch coop in path of exile 2 would be a breach of the 3rd party programs clause. I am a huge fan of poe2 and want to follow the rules. :)

Unfortunately, we cannot comment on the legality of third-party tools, as we aren't able to thoroughly and accurately check exactly how they work.

In general, we do not encourage the creation or use of third-party tools because they provide advantages for players that use them. I'm afraid that we're unable to guarantee if a tool is allowed or would remain allowed in the future.

I would recommend refraining from creating or using any programs that automates or does more than one action with a keystroke or mouse click as well as anything that interacts with the game client to provide an advantage over other players or provide information that isn't normally visible.

Okay, so, as long as it does not allow for an unfair advantage, or show information that I would not normally be allowed to view or access I *should* be okay? Or was that legalese for "No!!" I understand if you cannot clarify just want to make sure I am on the same page.

Edit: For anyone else wondering the same thing, after thinking about it, we decided it was just not worth the gray area and considered it not so good idea. Worth the ask though.
