Disconnected and when come back have lost all portals

As per title. First time for me. Got disconnected and when i reconnected all my portals for the map i was in has gone.

Not rolled back as it was a T17 and i only had the one in my map tab (it isnt there now)

If your map instance crashes while you are in it, it would likely roll back your inventory but not your stash changes (committed prior to entering the map) or consumed map materials. The map itself and your portals would also be gone. Only the state local to that instance might have been rolled back, after whatever the last commit point was (e.g. previously exiting the map).

The game will often report a disconnection when an instance crashes on the server.


Your map instance will also time out if it has been 8+ minutes since you were either in the map or in an area with the map device (town, hideout -- in POE1, you can also lose your map stepping out of hideout for more than 1-2 minutes if it has been that long since you were in the map). I'm guessing that little time had elapsed, however, when you said disconnected and not crashed.

If that much time had elapsed between the disconnection and logging back in, your portals could also disappear for that reason.
