Coins scam

I purchased ea access on ps5 when it came out. I've spent most coins on various tabs I needed, so I bought another 300 coins via ggg website. I spent half of them on more tabs, none of them appear in the game. I've sent an email to support and got the "well look into it" and that's all. Fast forward few weeks I purchased 300 more coins this time via PlayStation store. Money was taken and coins have not been added to my account. Steam, ps account they're all linked. Ggg support support ignores my emails. Is it £40 down the drain?

Hello friend. You probably made the same mistake as me: The account I bought the chest tabs from is not the same one I activated early access with. Even though both are linked to Steam, they are independent. On the login screen, in the top right corner, look for your nickname (account) and locate a scroll by clicking on the arrow to see if there is another account. If you create a character on this new account, you will find all your purchased items. It happened to me... I sent 5983 tickets and always get that AI message that everyone knows saying "we are very busy and blah blah blah". Good luck!

Hi Cory, thanks for clarifying though I must say it doesn't make much sense. Why would you separate microtramsactioms based on platform you're playing in a game advertised as cross platform with cross progression? It just sounds like a scam. I play on ps5 and wanted to do trading on PC. It didn't cross my mind at all that coins purchased for PC would be unavailable elsewhere, it's against any logic. If merging these is an option its great, id like that, id also like to get my psn coins, but ggg support remains quiet for over a month now.

You can thank sony for that, part of the deal for publishing on their platform is what their cut from MTX is and if they allow access to cross platform purchases, both microsoft and sony said no to this for PoE1 when they launched it on the consoles and it's just sony saying no this time...they would be seeing it as potentially millions of dollars of MTX that they get nothing from, so they say no to giving you access on their platform trying to force you to but it through them so they can get their cut.

Fair enough about Sony making it difficult, I just think this should be very clear when making a purchase, like a little pop up before paying. Not a post on forum I don't really follow.

I was credited 200 Sony coins, not sure where that came from perhaps a gesture of goodwill? Which is very nice of course I appreciate it. But the 300 coins I purchased via ps store are not there. The other 300 (or now 150 and some tabs) are there, but I can't use tabs purchased this way, and these coins are useless to me.

GGG support just got back to me via email saying they've done something to my account and asked to log in and check. Unfortunately everything's the same as it was.
