bug for linking xbox account to steam

im trying to link my steam to my xbox acc for 6h and it keeps telling me " Rate limiting active. You must wait 3600 seconds."
im not that bad at judging time since i first got that msg it has been 23,820 second ..... need help linking the live acc to the steam acc i use Last bumped on Mar 10, 2025, 1:04:12 PM

Receiving the rate limit exceeded error message typically means either yourself, or a third-party tool or browser extension, is sending too many requests to the Path of Exile website. In this case I would suggest disabling any browser extensions or tools which may be the cause and see if you continue to receive this error.

" after your suggestion i used fresh installed chrome ,never used edge and fresh install Firefox.... same 1h wait request i still think its a bug report not a help and information because i tried linking my wife's steam to my Xbox life and it takes me to the next page with email and if I'm shure i want to link them PS these are the 2 acc I'm trying to connect and i cant HunterBDC#3899 and JustHunterBDC#8922 so that i can play the game on a more stabile pc then a lagging series x that cant handle more effects on the screen Last edited by JustHunterBDC#8922 on Mar 10, 2025, 1:46:26 AM

" I think there may be a misunderstanding here... Vash suggested that your account is being rate-limited due to e.g. any price-checking tools you may use sending too many requests to GGG's server. The issue is not the web browser you use when trying to interact with GGG's site - the issue is with the browser extension and / or other tools you use while playing the game. If you explained which you use, we might be able to highlight any particular tools that are known to spam GGG's API and result in such rate-limiting. That your wife's account was unaffected means it's more likely Vash is correct because that indicates some kind of account-specific restriction. The expectation would be any kind of bug or other technical limitation would affect all accounts equally; it wouldn't pick winners and losers. "VPs are not required to change their posting style. " was playing poe 2 on xbox my pc did not even use the trade site(did all my trades via tablet) so i have no price check 3rd app or anything like that if that what you are sayin but ty for the input hope i find a way to resolve it b4 0.2.0 ..... i cant play the game on searers x anymore its lagging from all the effects |

ok problem solved
i did nothin new just spammed the merge until it let me get to the next stage .....u guys have a lil bug there .... if anyone from the support team did something to help ty |
