WILDSPEAKER - PRIMAL INSTINCT IS TOO GOOD

I just had to make a post about this node because I absolutely love it.

This node is insane and is Wildspeaker's best node in my opinion.


It enables you to:


1. Get 75% spell dodge easily with Acrobatics + a few suppression nodes

Saves you points on tree.

75% spell dodge is very powerful especially combined with damage mitigation like +max res (i.e. topaz/ruby/sapphire flasks), or Endurance Charges (which Wildspeaker can easily do with Replica Badge of Brotherhood + Ralakesh Boots), etc.

I hadn't tried spell dodge in a while, and this league I'm realizing how insanely good it is.

There are several mechanics and boss beams that give zero trouble with spell dodge (compared to suppression).


2. Frees up your suffixes so much that:

a) Gearing is way easier

- Spell suppress & chaos res are important suffixes - but they are difficult to get together on gear, making gearing expensive and a pain

- With Primal Instinct, you only have to worry about chaos res suffix

- As a result your gearing is much easier and cheaper than other ascendancy

- So much so that you can still get capped res easily while adding powerful uniques that don't have res / penalize res (e.g. Lightning Coil, Replica Badge, Melding of Flesh etc.). Other builds can struggle to do this


b) Enables you to attribute stack very easily

- Again, only suffix you have to worry about is chaos res

- So you can attribute stack very easily, or go for builds like Crystallized Omni


c) Enables you to use other powerful suffixes

- Some examples of powerful suffixes below which other builds will struggle to fit in:

Ring suffixes
- Shock nearby enemies when you focus (great for poison builds)
- % of Damage taken Recouped as Life (T1 is 13-15%. Great for Petrified Blood builds)

Belt suffix
- Regen # ES when a rare or unique is nearby (great for hybrid, or Eldritch Battery builds)
- Gain Alchemist Genius when you use a flask (essence)

Glove suffixes:
- Accuracy rating
- % increased Elemental Damage if you've dealt a Critical Strike Recently, % increased Global Critical Strike Chance

Helmet suffixes:
- Accuracy rating
- Trigger Socketed Spells when you Focus, with a 0.25 second Cooldown
- % inc. mana res efficiency (essence)
- +2 to socketed aura gems (essence)


I'm just a huge Wildspeaker fan xD.
