My weapon was lost after being taken offline

After shutting down and going online again, it was discovered that the weapon was lost.

Hi there, I believe you may be having an issue in POE2, this forum is for POE 1 tech support, but let's see what we can do here.

What happened before you disconnected from the game? Did you perhaps left click on your weapon and the weapon may still be on your mouse? Unless you dropped your weapon outside of a town on the ground there is typically a notification that pops up when someone attempts to destroy an item from their inventory, to confirm.
