Xbox Error 0x8b050033

After the update on 3/5/25 the game will not launch on xbox. Microsoft says it is a POE2 problem, and POE2 says to reach out to Microsoft. I cannot find any solutions that work so far and neither organization has responded to any of my attempts to reach out, other than to tell me its not their fault and to ask the other guys lol. Has anybody found a solution or heard anything of value from either company? Thanks for your time

Sorry but im confused man. That link is just other players talking about having the same issue in the forum. I see no official info or statements in there from anybody that works for POE,GGG, or Microsoft. I do see that one person in one of those posts says they are talking to "microsoft north america" and that they said they are working on it, but all my communications with microsoft support tell me to reach out to POE and that it isn't their fault

Thanks for the help man, but I already know I cannot sign in and am hoping for a fix soon. This post tells me nothing lol.
I also am in contact with both companies support and they tell me the same thing, so whos actually fixing it? and what needs to be fixed? something on POE2 side? Something on Microsoft side?

It's not something you can fix yourself. You'll have to wait for GGG and Microsoft to fix it.

Nobody is omniscient and precognizant, so they can't tell you when it'll be fixed precisely. Just that it'll be fixed as soon as it can be fixed.

but also it doesn't require omnipresence to assess a problem and take responsibility for it. All I am saying is its a little silly that its so hard to find information about the situation, microsoft support has been particularly unhelpful lol

I tried everything Microsoft suggested, spent hours chatting with "help" from Microsoft and from GGG to no avail. Then I stumbled across this gem left by another user on this forum. I tried all the other procedures for resetting, clearing alternate mac address, uninstall and reinstall game, ect. ect. none worked except this little procedure here. I don't know why it did but it worked for me so maybe it can help somebody else

1. GO OFFLINE ON YOUR CONSOLE NETWORK SETTINGS,
2. THEN HARD RESET BY HOLDING THE POWER BUTTON FOR 15 SECONDS,
3. THEN POWER BACK ON AND GO BACK ONLINE IN THE NETWORK SETTINGS.
4. CHECK FOR CONSOLE AND GAME UPDATES, THERE WILL BE NONE BUT MAGICALLY YOUR POE2 WILL WORK!
