Aura from rogue item not working
I've got a sharpening stone with a level 10 determination aura mod equipped on Isla in SSF ruthless, and when in a heist area with Isla (standing still next to her) there is neither an aura icon visible (with "show aura icon" option on) nor does my character sheet show any difference whatsoever in armour values.
What can explain this other than a bug? thank you Underrated stats: Basic human decency, small quantum of respect, microportion of compassion Last bumped on Mar 19, 2025, 4:34:02 PM

Hard to test on ruthless but finally got Huck to appear in a map -- there a rogue weapon with aura (in this case haste) DOES work. It only DOES NOT work in Heist areas. This seems new to recent patches?

No auras whatsoever on any rogue weapon will have any effect at all while in a heist zone, no matter which rogue they are on. Only in maps in which huck can appear can one see that the items imbued with auras actually have some effect.

It might be a Ruthless only bug unless it was introduced during one of the later patches. I heisted earlier in the league in non-Ruthless and the auras were working fine inside of Heist.
If you know anyone else in Ruthless, could see if any of them have an aura weapon to test with. |

Thanks.
I'm playing SSF, so I cannot party, and anyhow I have the impression that I know a grand total of zero people who are playing PoE1 Ruthless Underrated stats: Basic human decency, small quantum of respect, microportion of compassion

They definitely exist, but very scarcely on the forums. My suggestion would be search for either the Ruthless Discord or Ruthless Reddit and check with others on there. The more people you find that can confirm the issue with different accounts and auras, then you may have better luck for GGG responding to it.
I should also note there is a non-zero chance the bug is that the mod exists and the aura works in maps. So the bug fix could be they remove the mod altogether. |
