This bug happen in act 3 in jiquani's sanctum in that thing you can corrupt something, when you select your item (and with that on your mouse) and then click on that thing that you should "take" to corrupt your item, your current selected item just disappear and you can do nothing (go to the town, or use waypoints, or remove/select items).

Solve this by using the action "respawn on checkpoint".
