Disconnect from server

At the very least, could I at least keep my portals instead of having them wasted because of all the server issues? I’ve been getting an abundance of server disconnects since yesterday. I understand this is the beta version so I would think there would be some allowances for these occurrences. Every time it disconnects another portal in maps is wasted thus wasting waystones among others things in the process. There’s been times with no issues but when it does occur it becomes unplayable.
