Trial of Chaos lost item

For the second time now, I lost my high value golden luck charm while transitioning from one chaos room to the next. I accidentally dropped it on the ground in my gear menu just to discover it is not on the ground, equipped nor in my inventory anymore. Both items were high value (costing several divine orbs) so you can understand my frustration. Please correct this bug.
